Ma’din Public School which started in 2001 has completed victoriously 19 years. I take this opportunity to thank God for His abundant blessings with great pleasure. Let me place before you a brief Annual Report of the Year 2019-20. Ma’din Public School strives towards the total personality development of the children and to achieve the maximum level of learning.
Besides the Training Classes by CoE Thiruvananthapuram, we conducted Orientation classes to the Teachers by famous trainers in the month of May. Dr. Ashraf (IAME Sahodaya Complex-Gen. Education), Mr. Hari Chandran (Oxford University- English), Dr. Beena (Oriental Books-Environmental Science) handled various training sessions.
June 1st, Opening Day
The school reopened after summer vacation on with a colorful Assembly in the presence of our Chairman Mr. Sayyid Ibraheemul Khaleel Al Bukhari, parents, teachers, and students. We have grown with 3112 students in the current academic year with 129 teaching staff and 24 non-teaching staff.
June 5th, World Environmental Day
It was celebrated with a special assembly presided by PTA President Mr. Sulfikkar Ali Saqafi, who inaugurated the function by planting saplings in the school premises. Malappuram District Social Forestry Club provided 3000 saplings to school which distributed among the students on the same day. Members of Student Police Cadet (SPC) planted saplings in nearby houses through house visits.
June 26th
School conducted programs in connection with World Anti-Drugs Day which was inaugurated by Mr. Prabhakaran, DYSP, Anti-Narcotic Cell, Malappuram. Our Chairman Sayyid Ibraheemul Khaleel Al Bukhari presided over the function. Followed by the SPC Students conducted many programs like Public Awareness Rally against Drug Abuse, Quiz-poster and elocution competitions, etc. A model of ‘Chandrayan” also exhibited in the inner courtyard of the School.
July 26th
School Parliament Election was conducted by using modern technology. Special software developed by our I/T department in the form of EVM gave an amazing experience to the students. On July 29, after declaring the result of the election, the Parliament Members took the pledge in the presence of Mr. Sangeeth, Sub-Inspector of Police, Malappuram.
July 30th
Handed over the collection fund for Assam flood victims to Mr. Sayyid Ibraheemul Khaleel Al Bukhari, the Chairman by the Union members. More than five lakhs of rupees were collected by the students.
August 2nd, SPC 10th Anniversary Day
Inaugurated by Mr. Benny M. Varghese, Asst. Sub-Inspector of Police, Malappuram. Drilling Inspector Mr. Vinod Kumar, Civil Community Police Officer Byju, CPO Niyas participated.
August 6, Hiroshima Day
It was inaugurated by Ma’din Academic Director Mr. Noufal Kodur. Principal Saidalavi Koya P, PTA President Mr. Sulfikkar Ali Saqafi, SPC Students participated. Anti-war Rally, Quiz, and poster designing were also organized.
August 15, Independence Day
The celebration was inaugurated by the Chairman Khaleel Bukhari, PTA President, Academic Director, Principal, School Manager, Parents, teachers, and non-teaching staff and students participated.
September 2nd
A brochure describing the ‘Rainy Season Diseases’ by the SPC Students has been published by Malappuram District Collector Mr. Jaffar Malik, IAS. Mrs. Sasi Prabha, DEO Malappuram, C.H Jameela Teacher, Chairperson, Malappuram Municipality, School Principal Saidalavi Koya P, Academic Director Noufal Kodur, Manager Abdurahman participated. The brochure was distributed among the public also.
September 17th and 18th, Science Fair
The school hosted ‘STEMSORICA’ Science Fair conducted by IAME School Sahodaya Complex. 103 CBSE Schools from various parts of the State participated. 1500 participants competed in Science, Social Science, and Mathematics Fairs. Ma’din Public School became the overall champions. Centre Spices Research Centre Director Dr. Nirmal Babu inaugurated the function.
October 2, Gandhi Jayanthi
SPC Students visited the Office of the District Police Chief, Malappuram, and cleaned its premises with the help of other Police Officers. Mr. Sangeeth, Sub-Inspector of Police inaugurated the program.
October 10, World Postal Day
World Postal Day was celebrated by the School. Mr. Pradeep (Post Inspector, Malappuram), Mr. Charley (Manjeri Postal Circle) explained the postal system in India to the students. Various types of stamps, In-land letters, Post Cards, M.O Forms, and Post Box also introduced to the students.
October 28, Vigilance Awareness Week
It inaugurated by Mr. A. Ramachandran (DYSP. Vigilance and Anti-corruption Unit, Malappuram). Followed by a week-long program were conducted under SPC students.
November 14,
Celebrated Children’s Day with various programs. Selected children from lower classes visited District Collector’s Office and S.P Office and gifted the rose flowers to the District Collector Mr. Jaffar Malik IAS, and Mr. Abdul Karim IPS, the SP of Police, Malappuram respectively.
December 2nd
Cycle Rally on’ Water Conservation’ as part of SEWA Project 2019-20 by students of Xth Standard from MSP ground to Kizhakkethala, about 3.5 KMs. Flagged off by Mr. Suresh Babu, Executive Engineer, Water Authority Malappuram, Asst. Engineer Abdul Nasar, Principal, Manager, School coordinators, and School Leader participated. Distributed pamphlets and conducted street talks.
December 5th
IX-C students conducted a Seminar on Water Conservation as part of the SEWA Project. Mr. Abdul Nasar (Asst. Engineer, KWA, Malappuram) inaugurated the program
December 7th
Students visited Peruvannamuzhi Dam, the biggest water treatment plant in Kerala as a part SEWA Project 2019-20 led by Program Coordinator Mr. Vinod, Abdul Bari, Arun Kumar, etc.
2020 January 01
New Year Assembly and pledge against Plastic and Drugs. Principal, PTA President, Academic Director, Manager, SPC Cadets, School Parliament members, and teachers participated.
January 26th, Republic Day
The Republic Day of this year has been celebrated in a buffeting manner this year. A Grand Assembly has been organized by the students of various institutions under Ma’din Academy. Chairman Sayyid Ibraheemul Khaleel Al Bukhari inaugurated the ceremony.
